This wine takes its name from its dry, almost bitter flavor, that hints of pesch pits.
Obtained from the same grapes as Valpolicella and Recioto. These grapes are raisin-dried and pressed about 10-12 weeks after harvesting.
Intense and brillant ruby red color. Distinctive and accented bouquet. Dry, full-bodied, generous, pleasing tart flavor. 14% alcohol content.
Ages in cellars for up to 10 years. This is a classic roast and cheese wine. Serve at 20° C, having uncorked the bottle several hours previously. A great wine that combines solidity, vigor, a bone dry flavor, with a gentle touch that makes it an excellent betwee-meal wine as well.
COLOR: Intense ruby red
FRAGRANCE: Warm, ripe on the nose, intense and of great refinement.
TASTE: Complex, smooth, full bodied, characteristic with clear shades of dried grapes.
RECOMMENDED TO ACCOMPANY: Red meat roasted, game and seasoned cheeses. Excellent after dinner wine.
