The exceptionally fine weather conditions in September allowed the abundant crop of grapes to ripen beautifully. So between 23 September and 13 October, we harvested some very fine grapes in excellent conditions of health. The Pinot Noir wines are fruity and full-bodied; the Chardonnay wines show a lot of distinction, and the Pinots Meunier wines add a touch of gourmandise.
Pale lemon colour. Fine nose with pastry aromas as well as fruit and a touch of almond. On the palate there is appealing finesse, with melting and fresh notes. A delicate 2004 which leaves behind an ethereal sensation.
One of the best vintages since the great 2002, this is a sophisticated, fruit- and yeast- driven wine. It has a delicate touch, with its white fruit flavors well integrated into the toasty and tangy texture. It will age for many more years.
