• A premium Barolo from Italian producer Volpi. From the 2004 Vintage widely regarded as 'excellent'. Barolo is known as Il Re dei Vini ed il Vino dei Re, translated as 'The King of Wines and the Wine of Kings'. Tar and Roses dominate the nose, whilst the palate is supremely smooth, and really quite subtle.
